I crave monthly, preferably annual bike tours through god-forsaken lands. I’m looking for trips that feature overly militarized police checkpoints, altercations with motorists, and triple digit temperatures. My current owner is Ryan. In 2017, he thought he could leave behind his cushy California lifestyle for a life on the road. He lasted a paltry 14 months and then hightailed it back to California where he now enjoys indoor plumbing and bike lanes. Eventually, I’ll get sold to another weekend warrior, Ryan will get a fixed gear, and we’ll go our separate ways. Until then, I’ll periodically post updates from our trips around Northern California.
